2012 Hewitson Baby Bush Mourvedre

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a tinge of black on the edges and crimson hue. The nose exhibits ripe dark raspberry top notes followed by some ripe cherry, a hint of liquorice and faint spicy earth. Medium bodied the palate has a joosy flavour profile that’s quite Grenache like with ripe dark raspberry dominate over a lick of liquorice, light earth and spice. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark raspberry, liquorice and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
