2012 Greenock Creek Alices Shiraz

Fantastic colour displaying a totally opaque inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. The nose offers up intense liqueur like aromas of crème de cassis, dark plum, liquorice and blackberry juice over some vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied, rich, opulently textured flavours of ripe blackberries, dark plum and liquorice flood the front palate over a background of vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, dark plum, liquorice and vanillin oak. A round and generous Shiraz with very ripe fruit flavours.
Cellar 4-5 years.
