2012 Grands Vins Villa Ponciago Beaujolais-Villages

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with crimson red hue. The nose is quite perfumed with scents of violets intermixed with dark cherries followed by some lightly scorched earth and spice. Light and fruity with a dry finish the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark raspberries with some underlying earth and spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe cherries, earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
