2012 Gordon's Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and dark ripe cherry aromas are to the fore over some cedary tobacco end notes. Medium bodied with a fleshy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrants and very dark cherries over some vanillin cedar and spice. It’s a little simple and lacks some depth. Soft very fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cedary tobacco and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
