Impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice overlaid by black olives with cedary tobacco and spice characters following on. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich blackcurrant and choc mint flavours over vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Dry finish with firm chewy tannins. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant laced with mint, vanillin cedar, earth and spice.
