2012 Gioiello Estate Cabernet Merlot

Matured in French oak barriques for 18 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of mulberry and red currant infused with tobacco overlay vanillin cedar and dried herb notes. Elegant with medium body weight the palate has flavours of mulberries and ripe red currant laced with cedary tobacco characters followed by a touch of earth and light spicy dried herb characters. Finely grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of mulberries, red currant, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years.
