2012 Giaconda Warner Vineyard Shiraz

Opaque dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. The nose opens with aromas of liquorice and dark ripe cherries overlaid by some clove like characters followed by some subtle meatiness, earth and blackpepper. Medium bodied with an elegant feel the palate features flavours of ripe dark cherries, clove infusions and liquorice which overlap meaty cedar like characters with a spicy back palate. Quite savoury with very fine grained velvet like tannins. Long aftertaste of dark ripe cherries, spicy clove, subtle liquorice and meaty cedar like characters.
Cellar 5-6 years.
