2012 Giaconda Cabernet Sauvignon

As a result of a replanting programme at Giaconda and grafting of some older vines to Shiraz, the 2012 vintage will be the last release of Giaconda’s Cabernet Sauvignon.

Outstanding colour – totally opaque inky black dark purple core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. The nose presents a refined sniff of blackcurrant and mulberry with an overlay of cedary cigar box like characters, light earth and spice. Medium bodied with good richness, very solid structure and an elegant but muscular mouth feel the palate has flavours of blackcurrant over cedar, cigar box, earth and spice. Dryish finish with firm structured tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar, earthy cigar box and spice.
Very Limited Stocks.
Cellar 6-8 years (2020-2022).
