Outstanding depth of colour displaying an inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice and ripe black cherry aromas are overlaid by some toasty oak and vanillin confectionary with light pepper end notes. Full bodied and rich, opulent liquorice, blackberry and black cherry flavours are to the fore followed by some smoky oak and pepper with a firm dry finish the result of the assertive tannin structure. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe black cherry, smoky cedar and pepper.
