Outstanding colour displaying an inky black core with a dark crimson black hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrants and liquorice arise from the glass followed by some vanillin cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate has good richness and a relatively elegant structure delivering flavours of blackcurrants, a touch of liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins showing a touch of grip. Medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and spice.
