Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Elevated aromas of blackcurrant mixed with traces of liquorice sit over some cedary cigar box characters, hints of scorched earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with ripe blackcurrant flavours dominate over a back drop of liquorice, earthy cigar box and spice. Dryish finish with a fine grained but solidly built tannin structure. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, a touch of liquorice, cigar box, earth and spice.
