2012 First Drop The Matador Garnacha

‘A Rich Spicy Grenache that has a sumptuous mouthfeel’ Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays fragrant aromas of ripe dark raspberries and liquorice followed by some confectionary, light earth and spice. Medium weight to full bodied the palate is packed with an abundance of succulent ripe dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours followed by some confectionary with a very spicy finish. Soft opulent texture with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark raspberry, liquorice and subtle earth.
