Totally opaque black dark red purple hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice over some cedar, very light bay leaf and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses excellent richness with generous mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark mulberry followed by some cedary tobacco and spice. Dryish finish with solid but finely grained tannins. Medium to long blackcurrant, dark mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
