2012 Ellis Wines Premium Heathcote Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson purple hue. The nose displays distinct liquorice top notes followed by dark plum, vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied and with quite candied fruit the palate has flavours of blackberries and ripe dark plums followed by a touch of liquorice and spicy vanillin oak. Very fine grained velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of ripe plums, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
