Matured for 18 months in a combination of American & French oak puncheons. A youthful looking opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson purple hue. The nose displays aromas of dark fleshy plum, black cherries, liquorice and vanillin confectionary. Medium to full bodied with a plush velvety texture the palate boasts flavours of blackberry and liquorice followed by some toasty oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackberry, plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
