2012 Delatite High Ground Shiraz

Deep dark purple black colour with a dark purple red hue. The nose reveals liquorice top notes followed by some dark ripe cherries, meaty characters and spice. Light and savoury the palate has flavours of dark cherries and subtle liquorice over a meaty earth like background with a touch of spicy cedar also present. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, dried meats and earthy spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
