Matured in French oak casks. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light red hue. The nose exhibits scents of ripe dark cherries and some anise over a toasty oak background with some spice end notes. Light and fruity the palate sports flavours of ripe dark cherries and black raspberries followed by toasty oak and spice. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, toasty oak and spice.
