2012 Cooper Burns Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black colour with deep dark red black hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of liquorice, dark plums and a hint of dark chocolate followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied and very rich the palate delivers a voluptuously textured sumptuous flavour profile of black plums, liquorice and very ripe black cherries over a background of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Solid tannins take on a velvety appearance beneath the richness of fruit. Long black plum, liquorice and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
