2012 Conde Valdemar Reserva Rioja

Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated aromatics of black raspberry, black cherry and liquorice intermingle with scorched earth, dried herbs, old leather and balsamic like notes. Medium to full in body, ripe black cherry flavours have an earthy leather quality to them with toasty cedar, dried herbs and subtle balsamic characters in the background. Dry chewy tannins with earthy leather and balsamic characters lingering on the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
