2012 Clarendon Hills Liandra Mourvedre
Medium garnet/purple, the 2012 Mourvedre Liandra offers black fruit on a broody nose of cassis and plums with earth, tar, asphalt and dried herbs notes plus hints of tree bark. Showing considerable finesse, earth and mineral flavors abound on the med-full bodied palate that is structured by chewy tannins and has nice freshness in long finish.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Juicy, fluid wine with leather, black cherry and toasty vanilla notes running attractively through the palate. Not the concentration you expect of a Clarendon Hills wine but it's still a pleasure to drink.
