Opaque black dark red colour with bright dark red black tinged hue. Youthful aromas of blackberry, liquorice, toasty oak and spice. Medium weight the palate flavours don’t appear to have reached optimum ripeness with sour dark cherries, cedar and spice present in a lean dry textural profile. There’s also some bitterness towards the finish. Slightly chalky tannins. Modest aftertaste of sour bitter dark cherries, toasty cedar and spice.
