Superb colour saturation with an inky black dark purple core and deep black purple hue. On the nose ripe blackberry, black cherry and liquorice aromas overlay some subtle vanillin oak and spice. The palate is still quite youthful boasting luscious ripe blackberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours followed by some toasty vanillin oak with an inky mouth feel on the finish. Dryish, slightly firmish tannins provide structure. Aftertaste of inky blackberry, liquorice and subtle toasty vanillin oak.
