'Ruadh Maor' is the name Glenturret use for their peated distillate. Carn Mor have matured this release in select refill ex-sherry hogsheads for eight years.  Uncomplicated, flavoursome and in the mid-range for smokey styles, it combines sweet cured meats with mezcal-like notes of rubber and char-grill, finishing with olive brine and Fisherman’s Friends cough lozenges. You'd never pick it as Glenturret. A Winter warmer with stronger references to Oaxaca than the Scottish Highlands. 47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 2243 bottles.
