2012 Cape Bernier Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Lifted dark cherry and anise scents overlay some meaty characters, cedar and light spice. Light to medium weight with excellent richness and power the palate features ripe dark cherry, dark plum and anise flavours over a background of subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherry, dark plum, anise and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
