2012 Bundaleer Hornsdale Mist Shiraz

Bursting with Rich Luscious fruit this Shiraz delivers fantastic value

Family owned and operated, Bundaleer Vineyard, planted on the edge of the Bundaleer Forest, is located 200 km north of Adelaide. The region is just 70 km north of the Clare and is part of the Southern Flinders Ranges GI. Bursting with fruit this Shiraz delivers fantastic value. The wine displays superb colour saturation with an inky black core and a very deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays intense top notes of liquorice intermixed with some black cherries and blackberries over some vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and full bodied the palate is flooded with luscious black cherry and liquorice flavours which overlay a background of smoked meats, vanillin cedar and spice. Fine grained but solidly built tannins. Excellent concentration and depth with a long black cherry, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar and spice aftertaste.
