2012 Beechworth Wine Estates Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a lively greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe white peach interlaced with some funky matchstick characters followed by cashew, nougat and spice. Medium bodied with good richness and a slightly creamy textural feel the palate possesses flavours of white peach and nectarine over cashew, funky matchstick characters and a touch of spicy nougat. Clean dry finish. Very good length with a long aftertaste of cashew, funky matchstick characters, subtle nougat and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
