Opaque black dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of plum and blackberry jam followed by some fennel and lightly smoked oak. Soft and round, rich plummy flavours are to the fore with a touch of liquorice, fennel and smoky oak following. Medium weight and relatively elegant for the Barossa. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of plummy fruits, fennel and spicy smoked oak.
