2012 Banks Road Will's Selection Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Lifted top notes of ripe red cherries, raspberries and strawberries are followed by some anise, lightly toasted cedar and spice. Light in weight with a supple textural feel the palate has flavours of red cherries, strawberries and sour cherries over a background of stalk and spicy vanillin cedar. Moderately concentrated it lacks some power. Velvet smooth, very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red cherries, sour cherries, some stalkiness and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
