2012 Amelia Park Cabernet Merlot

Aged in French oak for 12 months. Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrants intermixed with some dark chocolate and subtle bay leaf followed by spicy cedary tobacco characters. Medium to full bodied with ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate flavours to the fore over cedary tobacco characters and spice. Dryish finish with firmly built and slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
