2011 X by Xabregas Figtree Riesling

Bright pale straw colour with a very distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Intense lime and lemon honey aromas are overlaid by some toastiness and a hint of kerosene with spicy end notes. Possessing good weight and richness, concentrated lime and lemon honey flavours fill the palate within a rich oily textural feel. Following are some red apple, toasty kerosene like nuances and spice. Crisp acid finish. Excellent length with a long conclusion of lemon honey, lime, subtle red apples, toast and spicy kerosene.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
