Cognac would seem like a complementary match for a rum's secondary maturation, hence this addition to the Cask Series, distilled in the iconic Forsyths Double Retort Pot Still at the Estate in Jamaica in 2011, then tropically aged. The initial 8-year spell in ex-Bourbon barrels was followed by a further 3 years in barrels that had previously contained Cognac.
