Matured for 20 months in French oak barriques. Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose is a fusion of blackcurrant, mulberry, subtle bay leaf, cedar and spice aromas. Medium to full bodied with good richness and an elegant mouthfeel the palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant and mulberries followed by cedar, faint bay leaf and spice. Fine grained tannin structure with medium to long blackcurrant, spicy cedar and subtle bay leaf aftertaste.
