2011 Were Estate Chardonnay

Barrel fermented in new French oak for 10 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose shows good intensity with ripe peach and cashew top notes followed by a hint of honeycomb, nougat and light spice. Medium to full bodied with palate flavours of white peach and citrus over a back drop of cashew, light nougat and spice. Moderately creamy texture with a clean dry finish. Aftertaste of white peach, spicy cashew and light nougat.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc 13.8%
