2011 Vasse Felix Classic Dry Red Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 85% Shiraz, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Malbec. Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Liquorice and blackcurrant top notes are followed by some dried meat characters and blackpepper. Medium weight the palate possesses succulent ripe blackberry and blackcurrant flavours followed by a touch of liquorice, some dried meats and pepper. Very fine grained tannins. Good depth with medium to long ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, dried meats and pepper aftertaste. A great value Shiraz Cabernet blend.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
