A blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose is quite perfumed with lifted scents of ripe dark raspberries, dark plums and subtle liquorice over some vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium weight the palate is filled with succulent flavours of spicy dark raspberries and plums followed by some liquorice and a faint touch of earth on the finish. Soft velvety tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of dark raspberries, plums, liquorice and earth.
