Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Mulberry and bay leaf top notes are followed by some cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate has an elegant flavour profile of mulberry and bay leaf over a background of cedar, light tobacco and spice. It bears closer resemblance to a Margaret river Cabernet than Clare Valley. The finish is quite dry with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, bay leaf, cedar and spice.
