The boxes arrived labelled "Williamson's Nectar", so assume this is Laphroaig.

A company with a strong reputation in Europe. It goes without saying that 'Part II' is the second release of Islay's Finest from 'The Nectar', and promises to be a bit of a peat bomb. Interestingly, the shipping box arrived with the words "Williamson's Nectar" scrawled across it, however, it doesn't appear on the bottles. Those in the know will recognise 'Williamson' as an alternative title for Laphroaig. Islay icon, Bessie Williamson was the first female distillery manager at Laphroaig, and the first woman to own and run a Scotch whisky distillery in the 20th century. It seems that the Williamson name has been adopted by independents in order to differentiate their product from the 'lesser' and now ubiquitous 'supermarket' Laphroaigs. 

Since its foundation in 2006, "The Nectar"  has been sourcing the best spirits to share with professionals and the general public. Initially oriented towards whiskeys of all origins, they've since expanded into rum, armagnac, cognac and more recently calvados and grappa. Today, the company distributes more than 2000 references (including 600 exclusives) primarily via wine merchants and wholesalers in Belgium. 53.7% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
