2011 Sons Of Eden Zephyrus Shiraz

The Zephyrus contains a 2% Viognier component and opens with an opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. The nose offers up liquorice top notes with an overlay of toasty oak followed by some dark plum and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has fleshy flavours of dark ripe plum and toasty oak followed by some liquorice and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice and spicy toasted oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
