Opaque black dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted black cherry and liquorice aromas over some subtle leather, cedar and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate features black cherry flavours followed by a touch of liquorice, leather and spice. Dryish finish, slightly chewy with solid but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, leather and spice.
