2011 Snake & Herring Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Petit Verdot

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson black hue. The nose exhibits perfumed perfectly ripened blackcurrant and dark mulberry top notes followed by some cedar, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with an elegant structured mouthfeel and plenty of richness the palate is filled with ripe blackcurrant and dark mulberry flavours with a background of cedar, earth and spice. Very solid but balanced tannins assert themselves providing some grip on the dryish finish. Long blackcurrant, ripe dark mulberry, cedary earth and spice aftertaste.
