Another Elixir selection that shows a preference for 'distillate-driven' bottlings rather than exotic wood finishes. Six casks make up this 48% Blair Athol. First bought to the attention of malt lovers via Diageo's Flora & Fauna series, its spirit is difficult to generalise. We find the house style leans towards peppered fruits. A cloudy wort tends to bestow the whisky with a nutty, malty character. Non chill filtered.
