2011 Signatory Vintage Aultmore 14 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A spectacular colour defines this indie Aultmore, attributed to a finishing in an active Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. The style here will suit fans of powerful Speysiders, the sherry said to complement the whisky beautifully. 340 bottled were filled at 61.9% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

It does need a few drops of water to bring out all the flavors and bring it back into balance....Stewed red plums with stones, a hint of matchstick, the soap bar almost gone, but a hint of it remains.
