2011 Scotchmans Hill Chardonnay

Matured in new to 4 year old French barriques for 12 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge on the edges and watery hue. White peach and nectarine aromas are to the fore followed by some nougat, cashew and spice. Medium weight the palate has elegant flavours of delicate white peach, cashew, nougat and spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of white peach and spicy cashew.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
