Deep dark red colour with dark red hue lacking some depth in comparison to previous releases. The nose shows good aromatic lift with scents of liquorice, dark ripe cherry, toasty oak and spearmint. Medium weight the palate does not have the richness and concentration of Osicka’s best vintages delivering a relatively elegant profile of liquorice, toasty oak, plum and spearmint. Soft fine grained tannins. Modest aftertaste of liquorice , toasty oak and spearmint.
