Deep dark red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose opens with ripe dark cherry top notes followed by some cedary earth and spice. Light to medium weight with good mid palate richness generous spicy dark cherry and black plum flavours are intermixed with some earthiness finishing with a very spicy leathery back palate. Quite rustic in style with a dryish finish and solid but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, earth and leather.
