2011 Mike Press Merlot

Matured in both French and American oak. Deep dark red colour with a dark to brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe dark cherries and dark plum over a background of earthy cedar and spice. Soft and fleshy with good body weight the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark plum followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, earthy cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
