2011 Lonely Vineyard Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime and lemon are overlaid by toast and oily rag like notes followed by some lemon butter and spice. Still very fresh and vibrant, racy acidity threads its way through a core of lemon, lime and orange rind fruit. Wet steel, subtle toast and flinty mineral characters the back drop. Dry crisp finish with a long zesty lemon tinged aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
