2011 Kooyong Massale Pinot Noir

Matured for 10 months in French oak of which 15% was new. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with mauve hue. The nose displays good perfumed lift with aromas of dark cherries, some gamey meat like characters, plum and spicy cedar. Lighter bodied the palate delivers flavours of dark cherries, cedar, plum and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, plum, meaty cedar and spice.
