2011 Kersbrook Hill Chardonnay

Matured in French oak. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose reveals aromas of butterscotch and bees wax over some nougat and light peach. Light in weight the palate is dominated by the oak component with flavours of bees wax, nougat and spicy bacon fat with a faint hint of peach also evident. Low acidity with a sense of creaminess. Short on depth with a light dry finish and moderate aftertaste of nougat, bees wax and light bacon fat.
