2011 Infrequent Flyers Benriach Single Cask No.2377 10 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Benriach is a characterful make that's fruity and floral with honeyed notes, and sometimes more than a touch of peat. Wood finishings are frequently employed for official bottlings. In this case, Infrequent Flyers have followed suit with a secondary maturation in a virgin oak barrel. Combined with the natural sweetness of the malt, this promises to be a delicious dessert-style dram. 272 bottles at 58.8%. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Vanilla, toffee and almonds, with a hint of spice. Palate: Honeycomb, Lyle's golden syrup and a touch of Demerara sugar. Soft caramel chews, with cloves and cracked black pepper.
